Just in case you've procrastinated like me and haven't quite written a slew of poems over the holiday to prepare for tonight's "No Old Poem" night, here's a link on writer's block. Well, I guess I should also add a link on procrastination as well cause a lot of times putting things off leads to not writing anything at all. Hope this helps. Now, if you've not written anything new, please don't let that keep you from coming out tonight to enjoy others who may have something new to share. I've spoken to a few who actually have been at work starting the new year off with new material. My hat goes off to them. Come on out to poetry night tonight. It shall be fun!
Oh and by the way, if you have a friend who's a writer, poet, musician or artsy fartsy at all, here's a suggestion for gift giving to those who probably don't want flowers, a picture or stuffed animals for gifts.
